Oil and gas revenues of the federal budget in January 2023 amounted to 426 billion rubles, having decreased by 46% by January 2022. This is reported by the Ministry of Finance.
The ministry primarily attributes the reduction in revenues to a decrease in the price quotes for Urals crude oil and a decrease in the volume of natural gas exports.
Non-oil and gas revenues for the year decreased by 28% to 931 billion rubles, mainly due to a decrease in internal VAT and income tax receipts.
