JSC "Olkon" compensated for environmental damage in the Murmansk region. This is stated in the message of Rosprirodnadzor.
The Baltic-Arctic Interregional Directorate of Rosprirodnadzor revealed violations during a scheduled on-site inspection of the enterprise.
Together with the specialists of FSBI "TsLATI for the North-Western Federal District", a branch of "TsLATI for the Murmansk Region", excess of the maximum permissible emissions of pollutants into the atmospheric air were recorded at the sources of emissions.
As a result of the inspection, the company was issued an order to eliminate violations.
Olcon has upgraded its gas purification plants (aspiration system), which has reduced emissions of pollutants.
In addition, the company compensated for environmental damage — more than 7 million rubles. These funds will be used for measures to protect and restore the environment.
