Seven OPEC+ member countries decided to increase oil production in September 2026 in the amount of 188 thousand barrels per day, compared with additional voluntary adjustments announced in April 2023. This is reported on the website of the Government of the Russian Federation.
OPEC+ countries have confirmed their intention to fully compensate for any excess production from January 2024.
The Group of seven includes Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria and Oman.
