Passenger traffic on the Moscow Railways in January-July 2025 increased by 1.4% to 458.2 million compared to a year earlier. Commuter passenger traffic increased by 1.4% to 441.3 million, while long—distance passenger traffic increased by 0.2% to 16.9 million. Passenger turnover increased by 0.8% and amounted to 20.2 billion passenger kilometers. This was announced by the company.
In July 2025, 68.7 million passengers were transported, which is 1.7% more than in 2024, of which 65.5 million (+1.7%) were sent in suburban traffic, 3.2 million (+1.6%) in long—distance travel. Passenger turnover increased by 0.8%.
