Passenger traffic on the Russian Railways network in the first 11 months of 2025 increased by 1.3% to 1.197 billion compared to a year earlier. This is stated in the company's message.

Passenger traffic in suburban traffic increased by 1.5% to 1.079 billion, while in long—distance traffic it decreased by 0.4% to 117.6 million. Passenger turnover decreased by 0.9% and amounted to 132.3 billion passenger kilometers.

In November 2025, 111.3 million passengers left Russian Railways train stations, which is 5.1% higher than in the same period of 2024, including 102.1 million passengers in suburban traffic and 9.1 million in long—distance traffic. Passenger turnover increased by 1.3% and amounted to 10.2 billion passenger kilometers.

JSC "Russian Railways" (TIN 7708503727) was established on October 1, 2003 on the basis of the Ministry of Railways. The state owns 100% of the company's shares.
