Petropavlovsk in 2021 reduced gold production by 17.9%

The volume of gold production by Petropavlovsk Plc in 2021 decreased by 18% to 449.8 thousand ounces. This is stated in the message Petropavlovsk.

Gold production from own raw materials increased by 1% to 390.4 thousand tons. Gold production from third-party concentrate amounted to 59.4 thousand ounces, which is 63% less than in 2020. The average selling price of gold in 2021 was $1,791 thousand per ounce, which is 2% higher than in 2020.

Petropavlovsk Rlc. is a mining and exploration company whose main assets are located in Russia. This is the first of the British mining companies with 100% Russian assets to place shares on the London Alternative Investment Exchange. Petropavlovsk Group was created as a result of the merger in 2009 of the gold mining Peter Hambro Mining and iron ore Aricom.
