The total generation of electric energy by the wind farms of PJSC EL5-Energo — the Azov wind farm and the Kola wind Farm — has reached 3 billion kWh since its launch into commercial operation. This is stated in the company's message.
This is enough to provide electricity to a city with a population of about 500-800 thousand people, a large full-cycle metallurgical plant or a large-scale data processing center for 12 months, the company notes.
The Azov wind farm with an installed capacity of 90 MW is located in the Rostov region and is equipped with 26 turbines. The Azov wind farm was commissioned on May 1, 2021. The Kola wind farm in the Murmansk Region is the world's largest wind farm in the Arctic Circle with a total capacity of 202 MW. There are 57 wind turbines located on the territory. The Kola wind farm was commissioned on March 1, 2023.
PJSC EL5-Energo is a Russian generating company. The production branches of PJSC EL5-Energo are three gas stations: Konakovskaya GRES, Nevinnomysskaya GRES and Sredneuralskaya GRES, as well as wind farms — Azovskaya WPP and Kola WPP.
The share capital structure as of January 31, 2025: LUKOIL — 65.63%, PPIT-7 LLC — 5.54%, minority shareholders — 28.83%.
EL5-Energy's net profit under IFRS for 2025 increased 2.4 times to 10.69 billion rubles from 4.5 billion rubles a year earlier. Revenue increased by 18.3% to 81.08 billion rubles from 68.56 billion rubles, EBITDA increased by 31.4% to 17.77 billion rubles from 13.53 billion rubles.
