Promsvyazbank has announced plans to acquire JSC Roscosmosbank beneficially owned by the Federal Space Agency of the Russian Federation (ROSCOSMOS), Kommersant reported citing two sources close to the bank, with another source aware of ROSCOSMOS's plans to dispose of the bank.
Promsvyazbank also confirmed its interest adding that the bank was considering the possibility of contributing to the turnaround of Roscosmosbank. "PSB is interested in increasing its share in the market of services for the military industrial complex, which assumes the development of a bilateral relationship with ROSCOSMOS in this case," the bank told Kommersant.
Promsvyazbank PJSC (tax number: 7744000912) was established in 1995. Promsvyaz Capital B.V. is the bank's principal shareholder.
