Raiffeisenbank, Gazpromneft-Aero and Smartavia have pioneered the automation of aircraft refueling processes with blockchain-based settlements, the bank informed.
The project uses the "Smart fuel Gazpromneft-Aero" service platform for the exchange and accounting of civil aviation refueling data. As a result, the air carrier has reduced the aircraft maintenance time while having more working capital management flexibility.
Pilot commercial operation of the platform started on September 3, 2020, with fully automated refueling and settlement operations successfully completed for more than 100 Smartavia flights since its launch.
