Raspadskaya produced 23.272 million tons of coal in 2021. This is 13% more than a year earlier. The growth is mainly due to the resumption of production at the Raspadsky Section, which stopped in 2020 from May to September against the background of negative market conditions, as well as the transition of the Esaulskaya mine to a new reservoir No. 29. This is stated in the company's message.

The volume of sales of coal concentrate increased by 1% to 14.1 million tons, which was due to logistical constraints, as well as the need to replenish stocks after their sale in 2020.

The sale of ordinary coal decreased by 42% due to the lack of a goal last year to maximize the sale of stocks, as was done in 2020 during the deterioration of the market situation against the background of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The share of coal exports in the sales structure by the end of 2021 changed slightly and amounted to 46.3% (+0.8%). Good demand was observed in 2021 both in the domestic market and in export directions, while the limited availability of free volumes of coal and logistics were constraining factors, the company emphasizes.

PJSC Raspadskaya unites a group of enterprises of a single territorial production complex in the Kemerovo region of the Russian Federation: three mines, one mine, a processing plant, as well as enterprises of transport and production infrastructure.
