The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF, the Sovereign Wealth Fund of Russia) and the Vietnamese investment corporation SHINEC have agreed on a partnership for joint investments in a number of sectors, including logistics, port infrastructure, mineral processing, warehouse and industrial real estate in Russia and Vietnam. The corresponding agreement was signed on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the RDIF said in a statement.
RDIF and SHINEC will also focus on organizing the exchange of experience between specialists from the two countries in order to introduce advanced technologies in joint projects, create research and innovation programs, and promote Russian and Vietnamese companies in global markets.
SHINEC Corporation is a leader in the construction and management of industrial parks and clusters in Vietnam, which have minimal environmental impact through the use of modern technologies based on ESG principles, the report says.
