On July 29, 2020, Rosneft's subsidiary RN-Capital acquired 100,000 Global Depositary Receipts of Rosneft on the London Stock Exchange, the company informed. One GDR carries the rights in respect of one ordinary registered share of Rosneft.
The purchase was made as part of the program to acquire Rosneft shares on the open market, including those represented by Global Depositary Receipts, approved by the Rosneft Board of Directors in 2018. UBS Bank was selected as the agent bank. The GDR EOB price on the LSE was $4.95 on July 29.
Following the purchase, RN-Capital owns 18,924,470 ordinary shares of Rosneft and 21,110,738 GDRs.
