The Council of Ministers of the Union State of the Russian Federation and Belarus approved the resolution "On the creation of comfortable tariffs for the use of communication and data transmission services in the territory of the Union State (cancellation of roaming in the Union State)". This is reported on the website of the Russian Cabinet of Ministers.
Previously, incoming roaming calls on the territory of the Union State were free, recalled Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, quoted in the message.
"Starting from March 1 next year, it is necessary to provide comfortable tariffs for telephone conversations and digital data transmission on the Internet for subscribers of Russian and Belarusian operators. They should be comparable to those that apply to the home network," the Deputy Prime Minister explained.
