Rosatom has prepared proposals to eliminate accumulated environmental damage on the territory of the former Kristall industrial plant in Kyrgyzstan. This is stated in the company's message.

Specialists of the Federal Environmental Operator of the State Corporation took part in an interdepartmental meeting in Bishkek. It approved a set of priority emergency measures on the territory of the enterprise. The plant was built in the city of Tash-Kumyr in 1989 and specialized in the production of polycrystalline silicon. Currently, there are remnants of hazardous chemicals on the territory of the enterprise.
