Rosatomflot has signed a contract with Kuzey Star for the construction of a floating dock for nuclear icebreakers

Federal state unitary enterprise Atomflot and Kuzey Star Shipyard Denizcilik Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Sirketi (Turkey) have signed a contract for the construction of a floating dock for universal nuclear icebreakers of project 22220, Rosatom informed.

Under the terms of the contract amounting to RUB 4.981 billion, the construction process, including the floating dock delivery to the port of Murmansk, will take 29 months.

The dock that is currently under construction will have a load capacity of 30,000 tonnes.
