Rosimushchestvo is completing work on the transformation of the Sergo Ordzhonikidze Sevastopol Marine Plant into a joint-stock company with subsequent integration into the United Shipbuilding Corporation joint-stock company. This is stated in the message of the department.
Sevastopol Sergo Ordzhonikidze Marine Plant is the largest ship repair and shipbuilding enterprise in Crimea, one of the leading industrial enterprises of the Azov-Black Sea region.
Throughout the history of its existence, the plant had a full load and performed the most difficult work on the repair, modernization and construction of ships and vessels of various classes and at all times was the main repair base of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. The plant has built over 500 and repaired more than 5 thousand ships and vessels.
United Shipbuilding Corporation is the largest shipbuilding company in Russia. The holding includes about 40 design bureaus and specialized research centers, shipyards, ship repair and machine-building enterprises, on the basis of which most of the domestic shipbuilding complex is consolidated.
