Rostechnadzor conducted a visual inspection of structural, space-planning and other solutions, an analysis of the executive documentation of the capital construction facility "Construction of a complex for the extraction, preparation, liquefaction of gas, shipment of LNG and gas condensate of the Yuzhno-Tambeysky Gas Processing Plant" of Yamal LNG OJSC.
As stated in the message of the department, it was established that the construction work was completed, violations of mandatory requirements were not revealed. On July 28, 2022, the Department issued Yamal LNG an opinion on the compliance of the constructed capital construction facility with the requirements of the project documentation.
Yamal LNG OJSC is the operator of a liquefied natural gas plant on the resource base of the Yuzhno-Tambeyskoye field with a capacity of 17.4 million tons per year, including three lines with a capacity of 5.5 million tons per year each and one line with a capacity of 900 thousand tons per year. The first production line began production in the fourth quarter of 2017, the second and third lines – in July and November 2018, respectively, the fourth line – in May 2021. The shareholders of Yamal LNG are PJSC NOVATEK (50.1%), TotalEnergies (20%), CNPC (20%), the Silk Road Fund (9.9%).
