The RT-Invest energy waste disposal plant has supplied 100 million kWh of green energy to the general grid since its opening at the end of 2024. The company has processed more than 200 thousand tons of municipal waste, which was previously sent to landfills. This was announced by Rostec.
Every day, the plant receives over 60 road trains with waste that have been industrially sorted and are not recyclable. The company disposes of more than 2 thousand tons of such waste per day using waste-to-energy technology.
Rostec State Corporation is a Russian engineering company. It unites over 800 scientific and industrial organizations in 60 regions of the country. Rostec's revenue in 2023 increased by 34% to 2.84 trillion rubles. Net profit increased by 54% to RUB 60.1 billion.
