RAS net profit of PJSC RusHydro for H1 2020 increased by 41% year-on-year to RUB 29.9 billion, the company reported.
EBITDA increased by 26% to RUB 49.5 billion.
Revenue was RUB 70.5 billion growing by 18% year-on-year due to a 33% increase in electricity generation on higher water levels in most of the company's HPP reservoirs and the commissioning of the Zaramagskaya HPP-1.
Gross profit grew by 31% to RUB 40.8 billion. The company's assets increased by 3% to RUB 1.096 billion.
PJSC Federal Hydro-Generating Company – RusHydro (tax number: 2460066195) is one of Russia's biggest energy companies in terms of installed capacity, comprising more than 400 generation facilities. RusHydro is the Russian leader and the world's fourth biggest energy producer in the water power engineering sector. The company also leads in the energy output from renewable sources in Russia. The installed capacity of RusHydro's power plants, including the Boguchanskaya HPP, is 38 GW.
IFRS net profit of RusHydro for 2019 dropped 49.5 times to RUB 643 million from RUB 31.837 billion a year earlier. EBITDA amounted to RUB 97.5 billion, adjusted net profit reached RUB 51.6 billion. Revenue totaled RUB406.6 billion increasing by 1.6% YoY. Total assets reached RUB 925.1 billion.
RAS net profit of PJSC RusHydro for Q1 2020 increased by 14% year-on-year to RUB 14.3 billion. EBITDA increased by 25% to RUB 24.4 billion. Revenue amounted to RUB 34.7 billion (+19% YoY).
