The industrial production index rose by 0.5% in August, a 0.7% increase in July. At the end of 8 months, the indicator increased by 0.8%.
Manufacturing output increased by 2.4% in August after a 1.5% increase in July. The manufacturing sector grew by 3.2% in 8 months.
The volume of construction works increased by 0.1% in August after an increase of 3.3% in July. Following the results of 8 months, construction volumes increased by 3.5%.
The increase in agricultural output in August was 6.1% after a decrease of 0.4% in July. In January-August, the indicator increased by 1.2%.
