Russia's monetary base increased by 0.7% from January 29 to February 5, 2021

From January 29 to February 5, 2021, the monetary base in Russia increased by RUB 95.5 billion (+0.7%) to RUB 13,685.7 billion, the CBR External & PR Department informed.

The monetary base (narrow definition) consists of the cash money issued by the Bank of Russia (including cash in vaults of credit institutions) and required reserves balances on ruble deposits with the Bank of Russia.
