Russia's monetary base up 0.6% from December 25 to 31, 2020

From December 25 to 31, 2020, the monetary base in Russia increased by RUB 85.2 billion (+0.6%) to RUB 13,826.3 billion, the CBR External & PR Department informed.

The monetary base (narrow definition) consists of the cash money issued by the Bank of Russia (including cash in vaults of credit institutions) and required reserves balances on ruble deposits with the Bank of Russia.
