Russia's monetary base up 1.1% from April 23 to 30

From April 23 to 30, 2021, the monetary base in Russia increased by RUB 148.3 billion (+1.1%) to RUB 14,136.1 billion, the CBR External & PR Department informed.

The monetary base (narrow definition) consists of the cash money issued by the Bank of Russia (including cash in vaults of credit institutions) and required reserves balances on ruble deposits with the Bank of Russia.
