Russia to resume railway link with Belarus

Russia will resume the railway connection with Belarus and increase the number of flights to Minsk. The related order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

From February 8, 2021, passengers will be able to travel by rail to/from Belarus (the Minsk – Moscow – Minsk route) and using the Moscow – Kaliningrad, Kaliningrad – St. Petersburg routes with a stop in Minsk.

In addition, the number of regular flights from Moscow to Minsk will increase from three to five per week from February 8, flights from Rostov-on-Don and St. Petersburg to Minsk will be resumed on a mutual basis, with one flight per week from each airport.
