In the third quarter of 2020, the GDP of Russia decreased by 3.4% year-on-year to RUB 27,941.3 billion in current prices, according to the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat).
In the third quarter of 2020, the physical volume of value added declined in most economic sectors compared with the previous year, the statistics service emphasized.
The value added decreased by 12.3% in the mining industry, by 25.9% in the HoReCa segment. The value added in the information and communication services segment increased by 2.3%.
