As of March 29, the daily sales of milk by agricultural organizations increased by 3.5% (1.7 thousand tonnes) year-on-year to 50 thousand tonnes, according to a statement by the Ministry of Agriculture.
Average milk yield increased by 0.87 kg to 18.2 kg per cow per day. The highest milk yield (over 20 kg per cow per day) was in Leningrad, Kaliningrad, Penza, Lipetsk, Tula, Vladimir, Kirov, Kaluga, Belgorod, Vologda, Voronezh, Ryazan, Moscow, Sverdlovsk regions, Krasnodar krai, the Republics of Karelia, Crimea and Udmurt Republic.
