Russian banks in October reduced the volume of lending by 6.7%

Russian banks issued 1.34 million consumer loans in October 2021. This is 6.7% less than in September and 0.3% less than in the same period last year. This is stated in the NBKI report, which emphasizes that the number of consumer loans issued has been declining for the second month in a row.

The largest number of consumer loans in the regions of the Russian Federation in October were issued in Moscow (77.8 thousand), Moscow Region (66.1 thousand), Krasnodar Krai (50.8 thousand), St. Petersburg (48.4 thousand), Bashkortostan (44.7 thousand).
