Russian Post has launched its own telecom product under the Russian Post Mobile brand on the Beeline network. This is stated in the company's message.
A pilot project has been launched in the Tver, Kaliningrad regions and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). In these regions, the company's customers can connect to 1.33 thousand post offices.
Two tariff plans are available to Russian Post customers, designed for different usage scenarios.
The first tariff is for those who use the Internet a lot. It includes 1 TB of mobile internet and 500 minutes of calls.
The second tariff is the "Social Package" designed specifically for the elderly. To connect it, you must present your pension certificate. This tariff includes 200 minutes of calls, 200 SMS, 3 GB of mobile Internet, as well as a "Virtual assistant" that protects against calls from spammers and scammers.
Russian Post Mobile customers will be able to manage their tariff and communication services in the company's mobile application.
The pilot project was launched using the "Smart virtual operator" (Smart MVNO) model. This means that the company offers mobile communication services under its own brand, but uses an existing network and equipment from another operator for this purpose.
