Russian Railways will reduce tariffs for the transportation of containers and steel billets in certain directions. Such decisions were made by the company's management board to attract additional volumes of cargo to the railway, the telegram channel of Russian Railways reports.
Starting this month, an 11/1% discount is being introduced for the export transportation of steel billets (slabs) from Novolipetsk station to Tuapse-Sortirovochnaya station (exp.). The discount is valid for an additional volume of cargo exceeding 815 thousand tons for the period from September 1 to the end of the year.
For the whole next year, we will provide a 10.2% discount on the transportation of loaded 40-foot containers (as part of container trains) from the Elektrougli station near Moscow to Yekaterinburg (Hardware station). The discount is applied if at least 4 thousand such containers are transported.
JSC "Russian Railways" (TIN 7708503727) was established on October 1, 2003 on the basis of the Ministry of Railways. 100% of the company's shares are owned by the state.
