Sergey Shvetsov has been leaving the post of First Deputy Chairman of the Bank of Russia since March 21, 2022. This is stated in the press service of the Central Bank.

He supervised, among other things, such areas as consumer protection, financial accessibility and financial literacy.

S. Shvetsov played a key role in the creation of the mega-regulator. It was necessary not just to attach the Federal Financial Markets Service to the Bank of Russia, but to form a unified management culture, unified approaches to the development of financial market sectors. And Sergey Anatolyevich has made a great contribution to ensuring that the banking and non-banking regulatory and supervisory blocks interact effectively, said the Chairman of the Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina, quoted in the message.
