Qatar Power International Holding has established a joint venture in the AIFC: the AIFC has registered the company Kyzylorda Energy Ltd., whose shareholders are JSC Samruk-Energy and UCC Qazaqstan 3 LLC, part of the Power International Holding group. It was reported that the company will be engaged in the construction of a combined-cycle power plant in Kyzylorda for 1.1 GW.
