Sberbank has become the owner of the Arbat 1 business center. Vedomosti newspaper writes about this.
The bankruptcy trustee of Syracuse JSC, which holds most of the Arbat 1 business center (formerly Alfa Arbat Center) with a total area of 47.32 thousand square meters, has entered into an agreement with Sberbank to transfer collateral to it. On September 29, the credit institution transferred about 37 thousand square meters in this complex.
Arbat 1 was built in 2003. Initially, Alfa Group was involved in this project, but then it sold it to the TNK-BP oil company, which set up its headquarters there. In 2011, the PSN group, created by former shareholders of Promsvyazbank Dmitry and Alexey Ananyev, bought the office for $230 million.

The remaining 50% minus 1 voting share of the bank's authorized capital is owned by Russian and international investors.
On July 7, 2025, the AK&M rating agency confirmed the highest rating of Sberbank's non-financial statements.
Sberbank's net profit under IFRS in the first half of 2025 amounted to 859 billion rubles, an increase of 5.3% year-on-year.
