Sberbank, Mosenergosbyt sign additional agreement

Sberbank and JSC Mosenergosbyt have signed an additional agreement to the contract on the supply of green electricity generated at the wind farms of the Wind Energy Development Fund (a joint investment fund established on a parity basis by Fortum and RUSNANO) to the bank's offices, the bank informed.

The first office running on green energy is Sberbank's central branch in Ulyanovsk which consumes about 90,000 kWh monthly. Under the terms of the contracts, the electricity to be supplied to this facility will be generated at wind farms. The green energy supplies will start on October 1, 2020.

Sberbank of Russia (tax number: 7707083893) is the largest bank in Russia, Central and Eastern Europe. The Bank is the principal lender to the Russian economy and has the highest share in the market of deposits. The bank's authorized capital is RUB 67.76 billion. It consists of 21,586,948 thousand common shares and 1 billion preferred shares with a face value of 3 rubles each. The Russian Federation represented by the Ministry of Finance owns 52.32% of Sberbank's total voting shares.

JSC Mosenergosbyt (tax number: 7736520080) is leading Russian energy supply and sales company accounting for about 8.1% of sales of all energy consumed in Russia. The company is operating as part of Inter RAO Group, a diversified energy holding engaged in different electric power industry segments both in Russia and abroad.

The Wind Energy Development Fund was established on a parity basis by RUSNANO Group and PJSC Fortum with the aim of investing in the domestic wind power industry.

PJSC Fortum is operating as part of Fortum Corporation's Russia division, which also includes Fortum's interest in TGC-1 (29.5%). The company produces and sells electricity and heat.

JSC RUSNANO (tax number: 7728131587) was established in March 2011 through reorganization of state corporation Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies.
