Sberbank presents new logo and brand

Sberbank has presented its new Sber logo. The bank's rough estimate for the introduction of the new brand stands at about RUB2.5 bn within the next five to six years, the bank informed.

The Sber brand has evolved significantly. The ecosystem's umbrella logo presented today had earlier been successfully used for services like SberMarket, SberCloud, SberAuto, SberHealth, SberLogistics, and SberFood to receive a warm welcome from their customers.

Sberbank embarked on designing its new brand and corporate identity in 2017-2018. Further injections into the new brand adoption will be made within the next few years. No radical investments for these purposes are planned.

During phase one, all digital and electronic channels and web sites of the bank will change, ATMs will be replaced as they are aging, signs at the branches will be replaced within a few years. The current plastic cards will be valid until their expiration date without additional costs. Printed materials will also be replaced with new ones when the need arises.

Image advertising is not set to receive substantial injections. The only significant additional investment is the replacement of roof constructions across Sber's key branches in large cities.

Sberbank of Russia (tax number: 7707083893) is the largest bank in Russia, Central and Eastern Europe. The Bank is the principal lender to the Russian economy and has the highest share in the market of deposits. The bank's authorized capital is RUB 67.76 billion. It consists of 21,586,948 thousand common shares and 1 billion preferred shares with a face value of 3 rubles each. The Russian Federation represented by the Ministry of Finance owns 52.32% of Sberbank's total voting shares.
