Russian President Vladimir Putin has dismissed Sergei Ivanov from the post of special representative of the head of state on environmental protection, ecology and transport. The relevant decree is posted on the Kremlin's website.
Sergei Ivanov was appointed Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation on environmental protection, Ecology and transport in 2016. From December 2011 to August 2016, he was the Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, in 2008-2011 - Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, in 2007-2006 – First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation. In March 2001, Sergei Ivanov became Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, and from November 2005 to February 2007, he was Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation and Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation.
