Rosprirodnadzor, on behalf of Dmitry Patrushev, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, inspected the treatment facilities of the industrial-type economic zone of Alabuga JSC in Tatarstan. This is stated in the message of the service.
Experts assessed the effectiveness of the facilities built as part of the federal project "Improving the Volga River". Laboratory tests have shown that the permissible concentrations of pollutants in wastewater are exceeded.
The environmental damage caused to the Kama River amounted to almost 2.9 million rubles. SEZ PPT "Alabuga" reimbursed it voluntarily.
