SFI repaid part of the loan obligations to Sovcombank

PJSC "EsEfAi" has repaid part of the principal debt to PJSC "Sovcombank". As part of the program to reduce the debt burden, on September 30, the holding made another payment in favor of the lender in the amount of 1.5 billion rubles. The debt to Sovcombank decreased to 12.2 billion rubles. This is stated in the company's message 

To service its credit obligations, SFI uses the funds received by the holding from its investment activities, including in the form of dividends, income from securities and funds from asset sales.

SFI (PJSC "EsEfAi") is a public diversified investment holding, whose portfolio of assets consists of Russian companies that occupy leading positions in their market segments. SFI combines leasing and insurance assets, IT startups, and invests in large minority stakes in industrial and retail companies. Joint-stock structure: 55.96% of shares belong to a Russian company, 100% indirectly controlled by SFI (LLC "EsEfAi Trading"), 44.04% - to other shareholders (including 10.71% of shares that are in free circulation).

Sovcombank PJSC is a universal bank with assets of 1.6 trillion rubles according to IFRS. It is included in the list of systemically significant credit organizations (NWCO) of the Bank of Russia. The Bank serves 8.3 million individuals, including 7.6 million borrowers and more than 500 thousand depositors.
