Sovcombank and Diasoft have implemented an import substitution project for DBMS. This is stated in the message of the bank.
The bank's products for automating its own operations with securities and CFAs, derivatives and precious metals, depository activities, and reporting by the Bank of Russia, which are part of the Dealer Operations and Depository solutions, were transferred from Microsoft SQL Server to the import-independent Digital Q.DataBase from Diasoft.
During the project, migration from Microsoft SQL Server to Digital Q.DataBase was carried out on a volume of 2.2 TB of data. The industrial transition was completed in a day off, which allowed the bank not to stop key business processes.
As a result of the project, Sovcombank's IT solutions used to automate a number of critical business areas have been successfully transferred to an import-independent FSTEC-certified database.
Sovcombank PJSC is a universal bank with assets of 1.6 trillion rubles under IFRS. It is included in the list of systemically important credit organizations (NWCO) of the Bank of Russia. The Bank serves 8.3 million individuals, including 7.6 million borrowers and more than 500,000 depositors.
