Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on the application of special economic measures in the financial and fuel and energy spheres in connection with the unfriendly actions of some foreign states and international organizations. This was announced by the Kremlin.
Thus, until December 31, 2022, it is prohibited to make transactions entailing the establishment, modification, termination or encumbrance of the rights of ownership, use and disposal of securities of Russian legal entities, shares constituting the authorized capitals of Russian legal entities, participation shares, rights and obligations belonging to participants in production sharing agreements, joint activity agreements or other agreements on the basis of which investment projects are implemented on the territory of the Russian Federation, provided that these securities, shares, rights and obligations belong to foreign persons associated with foreign states who commit unfriendly actions against the Russian Federation, Russian legal entities and individuals, and persons who are under the control of these foreign persons.
