Sveza acquired three paper and cardboard manufacturing companies. The amount of the transaction and its terms were not disclosed. Vedomosti writes about this.
The holding company includes MMPOF Packaging and MMPOF Rotogravure companies located in the Leningrad Region. They produce cardboard packaging for consumer goods and tobacco products.
Sveza also acquired Nevsky Edges. This company produces paper for cigarette filters.
The transaction was approved by the Federal Antimonopoly Service, and all necessary changes were made to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities.
Previously, these plants belonged to the Austrian cardboard packaging manufacturer Mayr-Melnhof (MM). In December 2022, they were sold to the Granel development company for 134 million euros.
Sveza is a manufacturer of birch plywood. The group includes factories and a number of structures, including companies engaged in the procurement of raw materials and the production of biological products.
