Sveza starts production of fuel briquettes

Sveza has launched the production of premium RUF fuel briquettes, the company informed.

The first batches have already been shipped from the plant in St. Petersburg. The company invested RUB 30 million in the new project. The production will exceed 5,000 tonnes per year.

Sveza's new product is in the form of rectangular briquettes (155*95*65 mm) made from by-products (dry birchwood) using hydraulic presses.

Sveza, a Russian company, is a global world leader in the market of birch plywood. The company's products are used in the construction of skyscrapers and Olympic facilities, production of line-haul trailers, high-speed trains and LNG tankers, eco-friendly furniture and stylish interiors.

Sveza’s annual output reaches 1.4 million m3 of high-quality products, including plywood and chipboard.
