The Sintez OKA – Polyether company officially became a resident of the Kulibin SEZ in Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod region. The company has received a certificate of SEZ resident from the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. This is stated in the message of the Sintez OKA Group of Companies.
Sintez OKA – Polyether will invest 2.7 billion rubles in the construction of the production of polyalkylene glycols (raw materials for the production of synthetic oils, special hydraulic and lubricating coolants) and simple polyesters (a component of polyurethanes).
The capacity of the new enterprise will be 15 thousand tons per year, its area is 1.1 hectares. This will significantly cover the demand of the Russian market for polyalkylene glycols. Production should be launched at the end of 2026. Previously, residents of the Kulibin SEZ were Monamin LLC and Research Center LLC, which are part of the Sintez OKA group of companies.
Sintez OKA – Polyester LLC is a member of the Sintez OKA Group of companies, formerly Sintamin LLC. The company was founded in 2020. It will produce simple polyesters and polyalkylene glycols.
The Sintez OKA Group of companies includes a production complex with its own thermal power plant located in the city of Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod region, a research center and a center for the development of investment projects in St. Petersburg. The production and sale of amines is a key business line of the Group.
