The American food concern Kraft Heinz Company intends to restructure its assets by splitting into two public companies. This is reported in a press release from Kraft Heinz.
One of the new structures, called Global Taste Elevation Co., will focus on the production of sauces and combine the well-known brands Heinz, Philadelphia and Kraft Mac&Cheese. At the same time, the second company, North American Grocery Co., will produce the rest of its products, including the brands Kraft Singles, Oscar Mayer and Lunchables.
The restructuring is expected to be completed in the second half of 2026. By splitting into two companies, Kraft Heinz will be able to focus on developing the potential of each brand. At the moment, the complexity of the current structure makes it difficult to allocate capital effectively.
