The American jeans manufacturer Kontoor Brands plans to sell the Lee brand. This is reported by foreign media.
Kontoor has confirmed receiving applications from several investors and believes that the sale of Lee will not have a significant impact on profits over the next 12-18 months due to restructuring and cost reductions.
In the first quarter of 2026, revenue from Kontoor Brands (excluding Lee) reached $613 million (45% higher than the same period in 2025), taking into account the acquisition of Helly Hansen in the second quarter of 2025.
