The Amur region will receive more than 2 billion rubles to help residents affected by floods. This was reported by the Government of the Russian Federation. The documents were signed by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Mikhail Mishustin.

Most of the amount – 1.3 billion rubles-will be used to provide direct payments to people who are left without housing. Another almost 700 million rubles will be allocated to compensate the region's expenses for payments related to the complete or partial loss of property. Thus, more than 700 families will receive assistance.

Two orders were also signed to reimburse the budgets of the Trans-Baikal Territory and the Amur Region for assistance to victims of emergency situations. We are talking about the costs of providing one-time financial assistance, as well as payments related to the loss of property. The source of funds will be the Government's reserve fund.
