The average size of the car loan in February 2023 amounted to 1.22 million rubles. This is 3.8% higher than in January of this year. At the same time, the indicator decreased by 8.2% year-on-year, the NBKI said in a statement.
The largest average size of car loans among the 30 leading regions in this segment of retail lending was registered in Moscow – 1.77 million rubles, Moscow Region (1.58 million rubles), St. Petersburg (1.5 million rubles), Leningrad region (1.4 million rubles) and Khanty-Mansiysk JSC (1.3 million rubles).
The most significant increase in the average car loan receipt compared to the previous month occurred in the Stavropol Territory - 11.4%, Belgorod (10.4%) and Orenburg (7.3%) regions, Tatarstan (6.1%) and Samara Region (5.4%).
