The Board of Directors of PJSC RusHydro approved the further development of renewable energy projects in the Far Eastern Federal District, including the implementation of a program for the modernization of local generation facilities and projects for the modernization of heat supply systems. This is stated in the company's message.
During the period 2021-2025, the RusHydro Group commissioned 17 automated hybrid energy complexes (AGECS) in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the Kamchatka Territory and the Sakhalin Region with a total capacity of 43.5 MW, including 6.7 MW based on renewable energy sources (RES) and 4.3 MW of energy storage systems. Of these, 14 AGECS were launched as part of energy service projects, which allowed them to attract more than 3.2 billion rubles. private investments for the modernization of local energy in the Far Eastern Federal District.
Thanks to the introduction of these complexes, the total fuel economy in 2025 reached 1,901 tons (about 30%), and over the entire five—year period - 5.48 thousand tons.
The RusHydro Research Center on Russky Island is actively involved in the development of renewable energy projects in the Russian Far East. SIC specialists are improving technologies to increase the efficiency of equipment operation and the stability of ASEC operating modes through research and development work. In addition, the experimental operation stage of a 30 kW wind turbine of its own design, capable of operating in the harsh climatic conditions of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, has begun at the SIC site.
RusHydro plans to build and commission an AGEC with a total capacity of over 127 MW (including 29 MW of renewable energy) in 80 settlements of Yakutia and the Kamchatka Territory. The implementation of all projects will attract about 24 billion rubles of external investments, including on the basis of energy service agreements, the return on which is ensured by the fuel savings achieved as a result of the project. The planned percentage of fuel economy is 30% on average.
PJSC Federal Hydrogenating Company RusHydro (TIN 2460066195) unites renewable energy facilities in Russia and abroad, thermal power plants and electric grid assets in the Far East, as well as energy marketing companies and research and design institutes.
The installed capacity of the RusHydro Group's generation facilities amounted to 38.7 GW by the end of 2025.

The net profit of the RusHydro group under IFRS for 2025 amounted to 117.84 billion rubles against the negative result of 2024 — 61.16 billion rubles. Revenue increased by 14.5% to 663.77 billion rubles from 579.8 billion rubles. Revenue, including government subsidies, increased by 15.3% to 741.3 billion rubles. EBITDA increased by 45.7% to RUB 219.7 billion.
The net profit of PJSC RusHydro under RAS for 2025 amounted to 66.9 billion rubles against a loss of 13.4 billion rubles a year earlier. EBITDA increased to RUB 169.4 billion.
PJSC RusHydro's RAS net profit for the first quarter of 2026 increased by 74.8% to RUB 23.52 billion from RUB 13.46 billion a year earlier. EBITDA amounted to 52.6 billion rubles. Revenue increased by 22% to 83 billion rubles from 68 billion rubles.
