The government has approved a set of measures for the development of the road network in Russia. This was announced by the Cabinet of Ministers.
The events are aimed at achieving the goals of the national project "Infrastructure for Life" and are designed for 5 years.
Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, whose words are quoted in the message, noted that the first set of measures involves improving the regulatory framework, namely: fixing the procedure for identifying accident-prone road sections, defining recommendations for the preparation and implementation of emergency response measures, approving criteria for determining accident concentrations.
The second block provides for measures to improve statistical monitoring and control tools, including the introduction of targets for bringing the road network up to standard.
The third block, according to the approved plan, establishes the obligation of the regions to include information about the road network of settlements in the system of control over the formation and use of road funds. This will be carried out as part of a phased transition to digital platform solutions for operational management.
