The Government of the Russian Federation has approved the regulation on state accounting of housing stock in Russia. Such records will be kept in the state housing and communal Services information system (GIS Housing and communal services). The corresponding decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, according to the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The launch of the housing stock accounting system is scheduled for March 1, 2026. State accounting will be conducted for all housing stock facilities, regardless of the form of ownership. The objects will be registered until they are removed from cadastral registration.
The Territorial Development Fund will analyze information about public housing registration facilities.
