The Russian government has approved a system for planning Russia's technological development. The corresponding decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, according to the Cabinet's website.
This is a basic document defining the principles of technology policy planning in the Russian Federation. The document actually sets the methodology for achieving the technological independence of the country. As part of its implementation, it will be determined which technologies are needed now and which will be needed in the future. A unified list of high—tech products will also be formed," said Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, quoted in the message.
The Resolution, in particular, includes a provision on technology policy planning and four assessment methods. They determine the criteria for the readiness of technologies, production, development lines, as well as the level of market readiness and commercialization of high-tech products.
